About us
Burgers 100 years, and we’re proud of that! What began in the 1920s as a company that built farm wagons and agricultural vehicles has grown into an innovative player in the trailer manufacturing industry. In 1925, Koos Burgers took Burgers from his stepfather and renamed the company J.S. Burgers. It soon began focusing on building enclosed bodies for companies at the flower auction in Aalsmeer.
In the 1980s, the company moved to its current location and was renamed Burgers Carrosserie. In early 2000, the idea for the revolutionary Double Deck trailer was conceived, and it quickly became a huge success worldwide. Today, you can see our trailers on European roads and far beyond every day.
